Why use a Notary Public?

A notary public has the legal authority to verify that an individual is who they say they are to prevent fraud. The role of a notary public is to verify that a signature or statement is genuine and made of their own free will. Notarizations may be required for many legal documents, including wills, trusts, deeds, power of attorney, medical records, and transcripts, among other things.
